Summit Bobcat is seeking an experienced Shop Bobcat Mechanic, to service various types of equipment at our state-of-the-art facility. The BOBCAT machinery line includes skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, mini excavators, and additional products powered by diesel engines. Individuals for this job should be acquainted with the safe operation of such machines. This position will require the ideal candidate to work out of our Walden, NY location with limited supervision. The ability to work, think, and operate independently is a MUST.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line; including hydraulic, hydro-static, electrical, and engine systems.
Performing system rebuilds and overhauls.
Diesel mechanic experience is a plus.
Welding & fabrication ability is a plus.
Work effectively with all departments in the company—Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Strong computer skills are a plus.
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
